The Riverside Grove is Taking Shape

Posted on January 8th, 2010

After months of deconstruction, repairs, and reconstruction, our Riverside Grove project is finally taking shape. The exterior of most of the buildings are just about complete and looking great!! I love the color schemes chosen for this project. Our pool is done and the fencing around the property is almost complete too and looking great as well. The new roofs are almost completed and the roofers are finishing up the metal dormers and awnings. Soon we will start the site improvements.

Riverside Grove - A Building Before Rehab

Although we initially anticipated finishing up the delivering the first units by the end of 2009, after running cameras through our sewer pipes, to see what kind of shape they were in, we decided to cut the concrete and completely replace the 40 year old sewers pipes, which were cracked below each of the buildings. Although this came at a significant expense, we decided that it was a the right thing to do. Our mission from day-one was to deliver problem-free and low-maintenance residences to our buyers, which they could be proud off and enjoy for years to come.

The Riverside Grove project is not your typical Austin condo conversion project. Our developer – Renaissance Properties takes great pride in the fact that the original buildings were stripped down, leaving only it’s framing and foundation and some plumbing and electrical. Everything else was replaced with new and superior materials in order to offer ‘Like New’ townhome styled condos with features and amenities that will exceed most buyer expectations and impressive energy efficiencies.

Construction Underway at The Riverside Grove

Posted on September 19th, 2009

Construction began at the end of July at Austin’s newest and exciting condominium project – ‘The Riverside Grove’, a townhome styled condominium community designed to capture the hearts and minds of home buyers desiring to live near Austin’s downtown for an affordable price (starting at $129,900), while surrounded by Austin’s beautiful landscape.

The Riverside Grove is not your typical conversion project. It is being taken down to studs, both inside and out, and rebuilt as a new green project with all of the energy efficiencies and quality you expect from a well built project.  No shortcuts here. Only the best materials are being used and the design elements will be sure to capture your attention.

The first units are expected to be completed in March 2010 and these townhomes have already begun to sell.  So if you are interested in looking at this property, call us at your earliest opportunity to make an appointment, as these won’t last long.
